Apple is introducing AI-powered features to its macOS Mail app in version 15.4, enhancing how users manage their emails. According to Mark Gurman’s Power On newsletter, the update will enable the app to sort emails into categories such as transactions and promotions automatically.
It will also highlight “Priority” emails at the top of the inbox, making it easier for users to focus on essential messages without sifting through less relevant ones.
These features were first introduced to the iPhone Mail app with iOS 18.2 and have been well-received for simplifying email management.
By integrating them into macOS, Apple aims to provide a seamless and consistent experience across its devices. Users will now have more innovative tools for managing busy inboxes, saving time and improving productivity.
