However, Amazon stated that these reports are inaccurate. An Amazon representative clarified that their in-house AI, Nova, has successfully managed over 70% of conversations, including complex requests, in the past month. They emphasized that regardless of the model behind the technology, the goal remains to provide an excellent user experience.
The newly enhanced Alexa referred to as Alexa+, has been equipped with generative AI features, making it more interactive and capable than its predecessor. This upgraded version allows users to perform various tasks, such as ordering groceries, booking rides, messaging, and even filling out forms via Alexa.com and a new mobile app. Despite its new capabilities, Alexa+ experienced some setbacks during testing, including incidents where it provided inaccurate responses.
