Oracle has announced the launch of its AI Centre of Excellence in Singapore, aiming to accelerate AI adoption and workforce transformation across Southeast Asia. The centre will serve as a hub for collaboration, providing organizations with access to cutting-edge cloud and AI technologies, training programs, and a secure environment for AI experimentation.
Dr. Tan See Leng, Singapore’s Minister for Manpower and Second Minister for Trade and Industry, highlighted the importance of an adaptable workforce, stating that the initiative will help businesses drive digital transformation.
Oracle’s executive vice president for Japan & Asia Pacific, Garrett Ilg, emphasized that AI is set to fuel the next wave of growth, and the new centre will empower individuals and businesses of all sizes with advanced AI tools and expertise.
The centre is part of the Oracle Solution Center and features both digital and physical spaces equipped with state-of-the-art AI and cloud technologies. It will focus on four key areas: training, experimentation, transformation, and rapid implementation.
Organizations will have access to Oracle-led training sessions, hands-on AI experimentation environments, proof-of-concept initiatives, and fast AI adoption strategies integrated into business operations.
Oracle has partnered with leading companies such as Accenture, Deloitte, Digital Realty, NCS, NTUC LearningHub, PwC, and ST Engineering to strengthen AI capabilities across industries, including healthcare, financial services, telecommunications, and manufacturing. These collaborations will provide businesses with tailored AI solutions, compliance support, and secure cloud environments.
By 2027, Oracle aims to train 10,000 students and professionals in Singapore in AI and cloud technologies. This initiative underscores Oracle’s commitment to supporting regional enterprises in harnessing AI to drive efficiency, cost savings, and innovation.
