Quora’s AI chatbot platform, Poe, has introduced a new $5-per-month subscription plan, making AI chatbot access more affordable for users. At the same time, the company has launched a $250-per-month plan for those who require extensive usage.
Poe provides access to multiple AI models, including DeepSeek-R1, GPT-4o, Claude 3.7 Sonnet, o3-mini, and ElevenLabs, allowing users to interact with various chatbots in one place. The platform uses a point-based system, where each AI model consumes a different number of points per message.
The newly introduced $5 subscription plan allows users to spend up to 10,000 points daily, offering an affordable way to access multiple AI bots. On the other end, the $250 monthly plan grants 12.5 million points, catering to users who rely on advanced and high-cost models such as GPT-4.5, OpenAI’s o1-pro, and Google DeepMind’s Veo 2. Quora’s decision to introduce these plans aligns with industry trends, where basic AI models are becoming cheaper while more advanced models are growing in cost.
Previously, Poe’s most affordable option was a $20-per-month plan, providing users with 1 million points. A free plan also exists, but it limits the number of messages a user can send daily. The company stated that the new pricing tiers were introduced due to user demand, offering greater flexibility for both casual and heavy users of AI chatbots.
